Aguas de Benahavís has carried out a comprehensive reform of the public service office, which adds to a firm commitment to the municipality in order to improve access to all people, regardless of their mobility, as well as having a pleasant space and bright for both customers and employees.

The construction of the office was carried out in 1986 to house the offices of the technical department of the City Council and hardly any modifications have been made since then, although with the arrival of Aguas de Benahavís to them, its use has been modified, being oriented both the work of technical and administrative staff and the attention to the public.

The reform of the office has been raised in relation to various aspects. On the one hand, it is essential that the office be energy efficient, especially with the needs of responsible energy consumption and the fight against climate change that we have today, social demand with which the company Aguas de Benahavís is firmly committed within its principles of sustainable development. This reform would constitute one more action of sustainable development of the company.

Another motivation to undertake the reform of the office is to improve its functionality and comfort, both for employees and for the general public, also complying with the accessibility regulation CTE-DB-SUA 9. In addition, it was necessary to confer a new image to the office, in line with the environment and with the aesthetics of the new century. Being a space oriented to customer service, the design must be functional, modern, simple and of quality.
A cutting-edge defibrillator of the Project Lifeguard brand, Zoll AED PLUS, has also been installed, thus passing Aguas de Benahavís to be part of the so-called cardioprotected spaces. External automatic defibrillators are one of the most effective tools to successfully attend a cardiac emergency.

The office is open to the public from this December 4 at its usual time.
