Aguas de Benahavís, which is committed to society and its needs, has signed a valuable agreement to integrate minors at risk of exclusion

Through the basketball club CD Benahavís Costa del Sol, the water supply service licence holder in the Málaga town wishes to transfer to this group the values that are inherent in the world of sport, such as working as a team, self-improvement, cooperation between participants, effort, leadership, motivation, dedication or gender equality.

The organisation of activities to support basketball and the purchase of sports material and kits for these children are part of the agreement signed by the manager of Aguas de Benahavís, Óscar Hilario Ruiz, and the president of the basketball club, Alexis Fernandes. In addition, this collaboration includes talks in schools on the responsible use of water, workshops on the environment and healthy nutrition and days together for participants.

The combination of sports and social integration and valuing equality with be accompanied through this agreement with a campaign to collect food and toys.

This support for minors at risk of exclusion through a local team is part of Aguas de Benahavís commitment to collaborate and sponsor projects and activities of general and cultural interest. In addition, this activity is part of the company's social corporate responsibility.
