Aguas de Benahavís presents the Aqualogía prizes for the best drawing and best slogan on the responsible use of water

Two third-year primary students from the Benahavís primary school have won the competition 'Responsible water consumption and the environment' as part of the Aqualogía education programme

The contestants won the prize for their originality and efforts in transmitting respect for the environment and efficient water consumption in their submitted works. Today, the prize for the best drawing was awarded to the Benahavís primary school. It was won by a student from third-year upper secondary school class, Dyana Rueda. The winner of the best slogan was Rebeca Mancilla, a student also in her third year of upper secondary school. The two prize-winning works will be the slogan and image of the Aqualogía campaign for this year in the town.

Benahavís Town Council's Councillor for Education and Culture, María Ángeles Mena, and the manager of Aguas de Benahavís, Óscar Ruiz, presented the winners with a diploma and a voucher for education, sports or audiovisual material worth €100.

Last year, a total of 50 students from the third year of Benahavís primary school took part in this environmental awareness programme on responsible use of water and the environment, which was once more organised by the Town Council and the municipal water company. The aim is to provide examples of behaviour that help attain sustainable use of the resource, from consumption to its return to the environment.
